Bringing people together through outdoor adventure and canoeing wild rivers

In 2017 Will Collins set off to fulfill a dream: to canoe the entire length of the Mississippi River. With the hopes of sharing stories from the river, the first Buffalo Roamer Blog was created. What started as a simple facebook page has grown over the years.

Buffalo Roamer Outdoors, LLC now includes Guided Wilderness trips, a popular podcast, blog posts, speaking engagements, and is trusted as an “expert voice” in the canoe camping and outdoor adventure community.

Why Buffalo Roamer?

Hoping to find something more unique and memorable than “Will Collins” a friend came up with the slogan - Buffalo Roamer.

Buffalo, because it is the mascot of the University of Colorado, Wills almamater.

Roamer, because we live to roam wild places.

Put the two together, Buffalo Roamer, and you have a unique name. The rest is history!
